身体の声をきく　～まずは『始める』ことからはじめてみる～

 

『自分の身体』の事をどれだけ理解しているかと聞かれたら、皆さんはどう答えますか？意外と、他人の心配はできても、自分については後回し・・・という人が多いのではないでしょうか。　私自身も、子供や家族、友人の心配はしても、『元気だから！』と自分の事は後回しにしてしまっています。　そして気づいた時には、痛みや体調不良といった症状が出てきてしまうのです・・・

今回元気の素を担当してくれたスタッフも、自身の体調不良がきっかけとなり、自分の身体と向き合うようになったそうです。　そして自分が学んだことを、さらに他の人にも伝えていこうと、日々努力を重ねています。

 

私は２０代前半で腰痛に悩み、お医者さんからも『次大きな痛みが来たら手術だね』と言われるほどでした。

「働きながら身体の改善もできたら・・・」と見つけた職場がスポーツクラブ。　「ここなら身体も鍛えられる！」と働き始めました。　鍛え方を学び、毎日使う足のケアの方法を知りました。　

ある日レッスン後に参加者の方からの、痛みについての質問に答えられなかったことがあり、もっと知識を深めるためにヨガの資格を取得。　練習と勉強をしたかいもあって、身体についての質問にも答えられるようになり、そして自分自身の腰痛に悩むこともなくなりました。

その後も様々なワークショップへ行き、【首こり、肩こり、腰痛の原因は足にある？！】と知り、「もっとたくさんの方にヨガや、フットケアの事を広げたい！」と次なる場所を探し始めたところ、井上レディースクリニックと出会いました。

院内にはレッスンスタジオとプール、隣にはメディカルフィットネスジムも併設していることから、産前産後のママ達、仕事がひと段落した方、身体に少し不安を抱えた方などが利用しやすい、女性による女性のための場所でした。　スタジオ利用中に使える託児も完備！　『なんと理にかなった場所なんでしょう！』　さらに自分自身女性でありながら、【女性】についての知識が乏しかった私は、『教えるどころか、まだまだたくさん吸収できることがある！』と、井上の一員として働くことを決めました。

ここでは、主にクリニック内にあるスタジオYOUと、隣接するビルのスタジオ翼、２つを掛け持ちしながら働かせていただいています。　私がご案内している内容は【機能改善】。　疲れが溜まっている身体をもう一度呼び起こして再教育し、使える身体づくりを目指しています。

スタジオYOUのレッスンでは、ヨガとコアトレを混ぜた産後の方向けの「美活トレーニング」、女性特有の病気と闘いながらも運動したい、気持ちよく身体を伸ばしたい！！という方向けに「メディカルストレッチ」というヨガとフットケアなどの動作を取り入れたレッスンを行っています。

メディカルのレッスンは私自身初めての取り組みということもあり、緊張しながらスタートしましたが、先生方、職場のスタッフのサポートのおかげで無事に続いています😊

レッスンスタート時には必ず、不調な所はないか伺い、その時々で内容、強度を決めて行っています。

最初は不安な表情をされていた方も、回数を重ねるうちに表情が変わり、生き生きしながら参加してくださっています。　きっかけは様々。　身体を動かすことで脳が働き、気持ちに変化が出て、身体にも変化が表れるのだと間近で感じることができました。

今日まで学んできて分かった身体を変えるポイントは、「再教育」「練習」、最後に「やってよかった」という成功体験の３つです。

すぐに身体を絞りたい！モデルさんの様な綺麗な身体になりたい！この思いにも憧れますが、一生を共にしていく身体です。皆さまのこれからの人生、「安心」「安全」に過ごしていく為の「運動療法」「再教育」のお手伝いをさせていただきたいと思っています。
